Modus of Operandi

These series of pages were created mostly because the bookmark file for lynx was getting too large and I needed to organize them. Therefore, I forced myself to learn html in my spare time and here it is.

Since these was originally my .plan file and my lynx bookmarks files, that's what the focus will be, rich in links and information, low on fluffy stuff like graphics. HTML 4.0 conformance will be followed so it's possible not all browsers will support certain things.

Although these pages might look like crap, they'll get worked on and slowly improved as entropy continues on. All work is done with VIM and my head. Recently, I converted over to using Macromedia's DreamWeaver and Allaire HomeSite to build the more tedious parts of the pages, such as tables. However, since neither DreamWeaver nor HomeSite are fully HTML 4.0 generating most of the other stuff will be built by hand.

Recently, I've switching over to using 1st Page 2000 because it looks/feels like HomeSite (without the nice style support), but doesn't have the system destabilizing bugs, nor the conflicts with WinCVS.

More recently, these files have been incorporated into CVS, so tracking changes and else will be a bit more "interesting". PHP3 support and PostgreSQL backend database support coming sometime.

There's an amazing number of pages out there under the Joseph Lee name. How strangely wonderful and confusing! ^_^;
